personal water filters are only made to meet Federal Standard
ANSI/NSF42 while our filter is made to a much stricter standard:

Water
is the most important nutrient we consume everyday of our
lives. Its the solvent for the foods we eat, transporting
nutrients and helping to metabolize or assimilate them throughout
our body. It holds the products of digestion in solution,
carrying them through the intestinal wall into the blood stream.
The blood-plasms which is 90% water then passes through the
human vascular system carrying nutrients to cells and waste
product through the skin, kidneys, and bowels. Water is crucial
to every bodily function.

Harmful
contaminants found in drinking water that our filter removes:
Chlorine
and Trihalomethanes: They upset the bodies immuno-suppressive
system and natural chemical balance.

Microbiological:
NSF42 standard does not require the removal as such harmful
organisms like Ecoli. Our filters are self sterilizing to
prevent the colonization of organisms captured in the filter.
Our filter is so effective, you can drink from lakes and streams.
We are EPA registered; our technology is bacteriostatic meaning
the filter is intolerant of microbial growth within. Most
filters don't meet our standards.
There is no new water. Water is regenerated from the earth's
surface back to the atmosphere layers where it returns again.
This reoccurring process is know as the "Hydrological
Cycle." In this process, water picks up many toxic chemical
in the process, including; lead, zinc, chlorine, berium, selenium,
manganese, formaldehyde, aluminum sulfate, etc.
Only
3% of the earth's water is fresh. Two thirds of that is ice.
Only 1% is readily accessible to man. 80% of the earth's inhabitants
have no access to clean water. According to the World Health
Organization (WHO), a child dies of a water related disease
every eight seconds.
Our
filter was developed as a tool for ministries, disaster relief
efforts, and as a personal companion piece to be used around
the world during vacation and business travels that lead us
all to water sources of uncertain quality. The new understanding
about Chlorine and Fluoride destroying cellular material and
the human bodies natural biological balances make filtering
necessary also in develop nations. The inhibitors in municipal
infrastructures intended to to retard corrosion are causing
numerous health problems. The need exists for the point of
use filters to remove these harmful toxins and heavy metals.
Our
filter weighs 1/4lb. and will provide 225 lbs of portable
drinking water, except for sea water. The filter is composed
of six different catalytic medias bound in FDA approved plastic.
The filters contents are ground to a specific microscopic
shape and size to produce a tortuosity with the filter of
2 microns. This enable the construction of a prices Matryx
for the water to pass through. It also causes enough pressure
drop to retard the flow and allow the catalyst an opportunity
to work properly. Our specific claims are based on independent
laboratory testing at the University of Arizona for pathogens
and Spectrum labs for VOC's and Heavy Metals.

Bottled
water manufacturers don't state what is in the water and in
most cases are turning back into unhealthy municipal water
by adding biocides such as chlorine or fluoride to provide
additional shelf life. If our filter is restricted to use
within trusted municipal sources only, the product will filter
water for 640 refills. That is about 1 cent per 22 oz. of
water. MUCH safer and more practical than bottled water.
Chlorine
and Your Shower
"Taking
long hot showers is a health risk, according to research presented
last week in Anaheim, CA, at a meeting of the Amercian Chemical
society. Showers - and to a lesser extent baths - lead to
a greater exposure to toxic chemical contained in water supplies
than does drinking the water. The chemicals evaporated off
the water and are inhaled. They can also spread though the
house and be inhaled by others. House holders can receive
6 to 100 times more of the chemical by breathing the air around
showers and baths than they would be drinking the water."
